    Raymond William Stacy Burr (May 21, &#;&#;&#;September 12, ) was a Canadian actor who had a lengthy Hollywood film career and portrayed the title roles in the television dramas Perry Mason and Ironside.

    Burr's early acting career included roles on Broadway, radio, television, and film, usually as the villain. He portrayed the suspected murderer in the Alfred Hitchcock thriller Rear Window (), and he also had a role in the film Godzilla, King of the Monsters!, which he reprised in the film Godzilla .     Abraham Stoker (8 November – 20 April ), popularly known as Bram Stoker, was an Irish author who wrote the Gothic horror novel Dracula. The work is widely considered as a milestone in Vampire fiction.[1] During his life, he was better known as the personal assistant of the actor Sir Henry Irving and business manager of the West End's Lyceum Theatre, which Irving owned.

    In his early years, Stoker worked as a theatre critic for an Irish newspaper and wrote stories as well as commentaries. He also enjoyed travelling, particularly to Cruden Bay in Scotland where he set two of his novels and drew inspiration for writing Dracula. He died on 20 April due to locomotor ataxia and was cremated in north London.

    Since his death, his magnum opus Dracula has become one of the best-known works in English literature and the novel has been adapted for numerous films, short stories, and plays.[2]
