APJCP receives many submissions, this has brought a unique opportunity to utilize the journal as a means of learning and promoting the skills of critical appraisal. For this, the journal editorial management is offering a training internship in the critical appraisal of a scientific manuscript. The internship serves two main objectives: 1) to promote critical appraisal skills among senior students and research fellows, and 2) to utilize the journal infrastructure in a learning environment (serving the very aim of the Asian Pacific Organization for Cancer Prevention). The Critical appraisal internship is a flexible and unique model in which, the skills of critical appraisal are brought to a real-life appraisal of a manuscript published in APJCP. The program relies on the expertise of senior scientists who participate in the peer review process of the APJCP and utilize their skill to train young and early stage scientists to acquire real-life skills of c
