    Ivan & Delfin was a Polish-Russian music band, known for their hit song "Jej czarne oczy" which was hailed as the hit of the summer of and representing Poland at the Eurovision Song Contest

    The band was founded in in Warsaw by Wojciech Olszewski and Łukasz Lazer, who started performing under the name Delfin. After meeting the Russian singer Ivan Komarenko, they offered him the role of the band's vocalist and writing lyrics for songs.

    In January during the a TVP program it was announced that the band was chosen internally to represent Poland with the song Czarna dziewczyna in the Eurovision Song Contest held in Kiev. The decision was made by a jury committee appointed by TVP, which consisted of 28 jurors.

    They performed last in the semi-final, placing 11th with 81 points, only 4 points behind qualification. They were joined on stage by singer Gosia Andrzejewi

    The 5th season of Taniec z Gwiazdami, the Polish edition of Dancing With the Stars, started on 4 March and ended on 6 May It was broadcast by TVN. Katarzyna Skrzynecka and Hubert Urbański continued as the hosts, and the judges were: Iwona Szymańska-Pavlović, Zbigniew Wodecki, Beata Tyszkiewicz and Piotr Galiński.

    On 6 May, Krzysztof Tyniec and his partner Kamila Kajak were crowned the champions. With two wins, Kajak is currently the most successful professional dancer in history of the show.
